What Doctors & Patients Are Saying About LEAP-MRT:Since 2001 I have been using MRT in my practice and have found it to be a very useful tool for my patients with non-allergic, but immune mediated food reactions. I routinely see substantial clinical improvement with my patients who are following a MRT predicted diet. In 2002 I conducted a study on autistic adults in which clinical outcomes were noticeably enhanced by the exclusion of foods and food chemicals that were MRT positive. Other data related to elevation of cytokine levels in food sensitive IBS patients before and after MRT food challenges clearly suggest that MRT is measuring a physiologically and clinically relevant condition. W. Ted Kniker, MDPast Chairman, Adverse Food Reactions Committee American College of Allergy, Asthma, & ImmunologyIn my 25 years of practicing Preventive Medicine, LEAP-MRT is the most effective approach towards food sensitivity I have ever used. It not only gets my patients better but is cost effective as well. I feel that in the hands of a nutritionally aware physician, LEAP-MRT can revolutionize the health care industry. Richard Sabates, MDAuthor, The Preventive Diet I first gained interest in LEAP after some of my patients were exposed to your program. I then worked with one of your nutritionists who was implementing the program and was amazed by the positive result which were gained by the patients. These patients lost weight and also experienced a marked decrease in their glucose values as well as having to take less medication to control their diabetes. I have since begun using the program frequently in my practice and my patients are very happy with the results. Difficult cases such as inflammatory arthritis, irritable bowel syndrome, obesity, diabetes, chronic fatigue, migraine and other common complaints have responded extremely well. Larry Gilderman, DOFamily Practice Many of my patients who've gone on the LEAP Program have had remarkable improvement in disease conditions which, by conventional methods, were considered untreatable. I have found that many common conditions respond to the LEAP approach. It has been very helpful for inflammatory and irritable bowel disorders, eczema, fatigue, arthritic conditions, and other autoimmune problems. I frequently recommend LEAP to my patients as I have seen and know the benefits that can be obtained by changing their diet without putting the patient at any risk. Arlene Martone, MDPreventive Medicine, OBGYN I see patients every day with irritable bowel syndrome, GERD and other functional digestive problems where diet can play a role in provoking symptoms. I have found LEAP-MRT to be a very useful tool. MRT reliably identifies reactive foods, and I consistently see remarkable clinical improvement in my patients by implementing a diet based on MRT results. I highly recommend MRT to any physician or patient who deals with any of these problems. Fred Williams, MDGastroenterology I am a Registered Dietitian, with 5 years higher education in Nutrition Sciences and Medical Nutrition Therapy and 26 years experience/continued education. I have been working with the LEAP-MRT for the past 4 years. Having the MRT test to guide my diet recommendations has helped hundreds of clients see dramatic physical improvements and resolution of symptoms for IBS, migraine, arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic pain and more. It's rewarding to see patients get well, after many years of frustration with repeat doctor visits, routine medical care and medications that don’t fully resolve symptoms. - Julianne Koritz MS, RD, LDN, CLTNutrition Coach, Inc.
Five or six years ago when I was a junior in high school I started to get very sick every time I ate. I went to many different doctors and eventually had my gallbladder removed. I was better for a short amount of time. Then my freshman year of college my symptoms escalated to the point of unbearable. I was always near the bathroom due to constant diarrhea; I would have terrible abdominal and intestinal pain, headaches, severe joint pain, and acne flare-ups. I found it was difficult to participate in Ultimate Frisbee and the many other organizations that I am involved in. I was always ending up suffering from an attack. I also had trouble concentrating on my college classes. This is when my grandma suggested that I was possibly intolerant to gluten. This helped immensely. I then through trial and error was able to discover intolerances to gluten, dairy, nuts, potatoes and chocolate.

I was just thinking I should come by and post an update on myself and my daughter and our experiences with LEAP and how we are doing.
I wanted to share my story with you ...I have had IBS-D for 40 years and have been to 100's of Dr's, hospitals, many, many test ...and they all come back ok. I also suffer from a condition called Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome that causes horrible vomiting that you can throw-up from 4 hours to 30 + and can go longer. I have been sick since I was 4 and my first hospital admission was in 1961..I would have horrible pain and D, bad headaches, throwing up, nausea, I couldn’t leave the house for a long time. they said it was my gallbladder and took that out but that was unnecessary and also had a many other surgeries that wasn’t necessary and I had more then one Dr.’s opinions on getting these surgeries done. I guess they was doing what they thought would work. I couldn't figure out why I was still getting sick after all this work they had done !!! but today I know why .. I have been to many therapist trying to figure out the curse....and the anxiety that I had was due to being sick and them not being able to figure out what was going on....I come to this site as what I though was my last resort...and I haven’t a clue how I even found it.. maybe a lot of praying.. Anyway, I was here a few months and started reading about Leap and then I met Mike here on the board...Mike, went out on the limb after reading my post about my illness.. He knew there was something in me that I didn’t have to be sick anymore....He had faith that everyone else had given up on and that’s including me...I took the blood test with Leap and when it come back I saw all of the foods that I needed to stay away from and the number one food was apple and I have lived on Apple juice from the time I was 4 ..also, was coconut, and benzoic acid.. Since I have eliminated those foods from my diet it has been unbelievable...It took about 1 month for my system to get to normal. There is no way in the world I would have been able to figure out benzoic acid by keeping a food diary because I did have a clue that chemicals or foods could make you that sick....I watch very close what I eat now and also what’s surprising to me is that when the food and chemical isn’t in my system my anxiety is so much better...Anyway, I just wanted you to know that it really worked for me.. My insurance paid for all of my testing and that is such a small price to pay for the freedom I have today...As long as I can remember I have never had this long of period without any symptoms causing me daily problems...And I am off of all the medicines now and have a piece of mind that I haven’t had for a long time...The CVS has completely gone and I was at the point of almost loosing my job not that they would have fired me but the shame I was having from always being sick or in the hospital and not knowing what in the worked to tell anybody...Anyway, today is a new day and I feel like a different person...Thanks Mike for all of your help and the wonderful people that works at Leap Allergy they are very helpful to you...You know its hard to believe that a simple blood test and staying away from foods can make you better....and believe me I have been to some of the best hospitals in the world and have been a puzzle to them..... Dear LEAP, Donna S.
Dear Michal (one of our Certified LEAP Therapists), Thank you again!Best regards,
I have not found anything else that helps turn my patients around more quickly with positive results while changing their diets. Doing the MRT Test helps me to get my foot into my client’s door to change their diet. It is very rewarding to see people become migraine and IBS free. Recently I had patient who became heartburn/reflux free after 35 years of suffering. I have helped many other people when everything didn’t work. Identifying food and chemical sensitivities has changed many people’s lives for the better when everything else failed.
Diana C. Bright, MS, RD, CCN, CLTThis morning, (April 7, 2008), I had a very encouraging follow-up phone consultation with a mother. Her son is 8, and has had severe stomach/intestinal pain for years. He's growing well, and other parameters are normal, but he has had chronic gastrointestinal pain. He even had an appendectomy a year ago, and when he awoke from the anesthesia, he told his mom, "The pain's still there." He had often been doubled over in pain at school. Well, after Phase 1 of the LEAP ImmunoCalm Diet, the mother reported that her son had NO pain!!! Because of the symptom resolution during week 1, both the mother and child are motivated to continue with the LEAP Program. The mom is telling all her friends about LEAP. His Symptom Survey score has decreased from 27 to 2, and his GI symptom score has decreased from 11 to 2. Laurie George, MS, RD, LD, CLT

I have worked with LEAP Program patients for 14 months, and find it to be a very effective treatment modality for IBS, migraine, and other immune-related conditions. Often, IBS symptoms are decreased by 50-75 percent or more within the first week. In addition, LEAP Program patients notice more energy, less depression, anxiety and “brain-fog,” and enjoy much higher quality of life.

Last September, before I started the LEAP Program, my stomach was a mess! I had diarrhea for over 40 consecutive days, sometimes up to 13 times in one day. I had a constant bloated feeling. I consumed Zantec (150 mg) and over-the-counter medicines to no avail. My doctor could not get me under control, and proposed all sorts of intrusive testing.
Best regards,Elaine D.
I want to thank you for the opportunity to take the MRT associated with Signet Diagnostic Labs and the LEAP Program itself. It has been the answer to a lifetime of ill health for myself and my daughter and I strongly recommend it to everyone I know who has faced some of our health problems.
I had struggled with ill health for most of my life, but with a vengeance for the past seven years, and I had seen several Primary Care Doctors and GI’s. I have had GI studies, colonoscopies and a sigmoidoscopy that showed ulcers, small bowel scarring and swelling in my terminal ileum. I have had biopsies with a dermatologist that showed I suffered from some unknown autoimmune disease. I have tried Chinese Medicine doctors, acupuncture and chiropractic which all helped somewhat but there had been no total relief. I finally ended up at UCLA in July 1999. There, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and told I had something going on in my GI tract that they didn’t know how to diagnose yet. From there I went to see Dr. Jay Goldstein, a world renowned expert in treating Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome. There, I was diagnosed with both Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue. He told me that my GI complaints were something he often sees in his patients and he attributed it to the FM and CFIDS themselves. I started his regimen of pharmacotherapy and was mostly symptom free for about 3-4 months. I had built up a tolerance to the medications and needed to try something else. After going back three different times, I was taking approximately 20 different medications two to three times a day. I was feeling pretty good but still struggled with this unknown GI illness from time to time. That’s when I heard about the MRT and LEAP. I felt it was one more piece of knowledge about my body that I could potentially benefit from. When I had the blood drawn, I was hoping that I might be able to drop maybe three or four medications from my regimen and get control of my GI complaints. I received the results right after my birthday in August 2000 and it turned out to be the birthday present of a lifetime! I started on the elimination diet and felt pretty bad - just as I had been told that I would. Then, it eased up and I started feeling better and better. I lost some of the weight I had been desperately trying to lose for two years and I was forgetting to take my medications. That in itself is amazing as the medication I was taking was mostly for the pain I was suffering from the FM and CFIDS. I thought I would slowly drop my meds one by one to see how low I could get. After about six weeks, I was off ALL my medications! That alone paid for the MRT in about three months! I considered it could be a placebo effect, and I was prepared for that possibility. Here I am nine months later and still feeling wonderful, losing weight at a moderate pace and surprising my family and friends with how great I feel and look! The sparkle is back in my eyes and the color is back in my face. What an incredible gift to give my children and husband to have "me" back!! And no placebo effect!
With gratitude,
